There are a multitude of species of Orchids. This facilitates people becoming collectors.
Beginners can find Orchids that are relatively simple to grow at home without needing a hot house.
With the thought that we can help, having our personal experience and the love and devotion to this subject
we decided to create this website which we hope will help the new collector.
Orchids that are in bloom. The experts say that the spring time is the best season for the bloom.
From our experience we learned that every Orchid has its month and day of bloom as well as time of growth.
There are Orchids that bloom a few times a year and some that bloom at the most for only 72 hours a season ( the family of Stanhopea ), and some that bloom until half year ( the family of Doritanopsis )
From our experience you will be able to find the best environment for growing most of the Orchids (click on the appropriate links). What is best for one grower could be different for another.
Therefore never give up and try to create the best environment that you can.
It is important to remember:
1) The amount of light necessary for each species (some require full sun and some complete darkness).
2) The flow of air.
3) Humidity.
4) Temperature.
The photos in this website show the date and time taken so you will know when these Orchids bloomed.
We hope that we can be of help to you so don't hesitate to contact us.
I will continue to add more pictures as they bloom, (I now have over 700 orchids!) along with their name,
And we hope that you enjoy in this web site.
